Meet Our Practice Team
Mrs Sarah Cave (f)
Practice Manager (MAMS)Sarah is a qualified Practice Manager and has responsibility for the overall running of the business. This includes HR, financial, buildings, services, operations, and contracts.
Sarah manages a team of staff who provide administrative and operational service to the Patients and for clinicians.
She is also responsible for complaints, Patient participation forum, Local and national service level provision. The Practice Manager had a range of responsibilities and represents the Practice at a range of meetings in order to keep abreast of changes, updates and regulatory amendments
Administration Team
Secretaries provide the Doctors with secretarial support. They deal with all hospital referrals, chase ups, Solicitors and general secretarial duties.
Reception Team
Reception team provide a range of services to patients and are the first point of contact with patients. They will endeavour to meet all your requirements.
Meet Our Nursing Team
Nurses
Mrs Denise Murray (f)
Denise is a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner and prescriber. She has returned to the Garden Surgery to take the Lead Nurse and Mentor role to two Nurses. Denise is responsible for leading and mentoring the nursing service and for developing progress of our nursing team.
Ms Kelly Fullbrook (f)
Kelly is a newly qualified nurse who will be undergoing training to become an experienced Practice Nurse. Kelly has come to the practice on a scheme which allows her to be trained and become qualified in the whole range of services provided by Primary Care
Healthcare Assistants
Mrs Mary Greenfield (f)
Mary is a very experienced Health Care Assistant who has returned to the Garden Surgery to work alongside the nursing team. She is qualified to provide a range of services including immunisations and vaccines
Miss Eve Minshull (f)
Eve is a Health Care Assistant who can provide a range of services which include the NHS health Check, Collaborative care support planning (CCSP) for Long term conditions, wound care, phlebotomy and blood pressure monitoring
Miss Natalie Cave (f)
Healthcare Team
Community Midwives
Community Midwives provide care to expectant mums, following confirmation of the pregnancy, by the Doctor. She provides care throughout the pregnancy and up to a month following the birth. Patients may also be asked to attend ante natal and/or post natal appointments at the hospital as part of their care
Adult Community Nurses
There is District Nursing Team including Community Matrons who provide skilled nursing care to housebound patients.
Health Visitors
A Health Visiting Team is also attached to the Surgery giving help and support to families with children under 5 years of age. They offer home visits, developmental assessments, advice on sleep, behavioural and eating problems, support with Post natal depression, Immunisations and a range of other health issues. Stephanie Gale, Mary Mendoza & Anne Burke (Health Visitors), and Anne Saynor (Nursery Nurse) run the under 5 children’s service at the surgery and can be contacted at East Leeds Health Centre on Leeds 2951470.
